Newly elected president Raj Kumar Bhattarai said his team would work to establish the Rs 3.5-billion-industry as a creative service industry and to develop it as a strong tool for the country´s socio-economic development.
“Establishing National Media Center to develop Nepali ad industry as per the international standard will be our first priority. We also have a long term plan of establishing a resource center for mass communication and advertising,” Bhattarai told Republica.
He also said the new team will work to further strengthen relations between all the components involved in the advertising cycle -- advertiser, advertising agency, media and general consumers.
