New Karbonn smartphones in market

KATHMANDU June 22: Allied Trade Link International, the authorized distributor of Karbonn mobiles for Nepal, has introduced four new models of Karbonn smartphones--A3+, S1, S2, and S5--in the domestic market. [break]



According to a press statement, Karbonn A3+, a low-end Android phone, comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and has 512 MB internal storage and micro SD slot for memory expansion. A3+ is powered with 1 GHz processor supported by 256 MB RAM and 14,000 mAh battery. The phone is priced at Rs 9,135.

Karbonn S5 Titanium, a 5-inch phone, comes with Jelly Bean operating system, 4GB internal storage, 1 GB RAM micro SD slot for memory expansion and 1 GHz processor, says the statement. The phone is available for Rs 22,990.



Likewise, S1 Titanium comes with 1.2 GHz quad core processor, Jelly Bean operating system, 1GB RAM expandable to 32GB and costs Rs 19,390. Another new Karbonn phone called S2 Titanium comes with Jelly Bean operating system, 4GB internal storage, 1.2 GHz quad core processor and 1GB RAM. It is priced at Rs 20,914.

“Customers will get 8 GB memory card with pre-loaded applications upon purchase of all the phones,” says the statement.
