Nepse loses 14.1 points to close near 1,900 points on Friday

KATHMANDU, Sept 16: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Friday declined by 14.1 points to close at 1,910.38 points.

The secondary market opened at 1,924.48 points and closed at 1,910.38 points. The index fell to as low as 1,886.97 points in the first few minutes of the starting of trading. However, the market recouped around 24 points in the remaining time of the two trading hours.

The total turnover stood at Rs 908.18 million. Except for mutual funds, the remaining 12 trading groups posted losses in their average share prices. 

Ridi Power Company Limited had the biggest transaction of its shares of Rs 42.33 million. Mirmire Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha was the topmost loser whereas Citizens Nabil Balanced Fund 2 gained the largest percent in its market value for the day.
