KATHMANDU, Sept 7: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Wednesday declined 11.97 points to close at 1,939.88 points.
The secondary market opened at 1,951.84 points and rose to 1,955.16 points within the first few minutes of the starting of the day’s trading. However, the market fell to as low as 1,933.32 points before recovering by around seven points for the day.

The turnover amount was just Rs 826.23 million. Except for mutual funds, the remaining 12 trading groups lost in their average share prices.
In the individual companies, Nepal Doorsanchar Company had the largest transaction of its shares worth Rs 51.56 million. Prime Debenture 2088 was the top loser whereas Sunrise First Mutual Fund lost the biggest percent of its market value.
