KATHMANDU, August 30: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Tuesday increased marginally by 2.33 points to close at 1,995.34 points.
The secondary market opened at 1,993.02 points and reached the day’s high at 2,011.82 points. Similarly, the index plunged to as low as 1,992.71 points in the intraday transaction.
Nepse stretches winning run with record weekly turnover
The daily turnover amount stood at mere Rs 1.01 billion, a fall from Rs 1.26 billion on Monday. Seven out of 13 trading groups gained in their average share prices.
Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited had the largest daily transaction amount of Rs 95.77 million. Himalayan Everest Insurance Limited Promoter share was the top gainer whereas Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha lost the largest percent in its share price.
