Nepse gains 37.49 points on Tuesday after losing 86 points in past two days

KATHMANDU, June 21: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Tuesday gained 37.49 points to close at 1,922.30 points.

The market opened at 1,884.81 points and plunged to a minimum of 1,878.43 points before recovering in the rest of the trading hours. After going down by over 86 points in the first two days of this week, the market went on the upward graph on the third day.

The entire 13 trading groups gained in the average shares prices in the intraday trading. However, the turnover amount declined to Rs 1.23 billion from Rs 1.75 billion on Monday.

Among the individual companies, Nepal Doorsanchar Company had the largest transaction of its shares worth Rs 115.97 million. CYC Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the top gainer while Nabil Balanced Fund-2 lost the highest percent in its shares price.
