KATHMANDU, April 22: Newly appointed head coach of the Nepal cricket team, Stuart Law, is set to arrive in Nepal this Friday.
According to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), Law, who was appointed as the head coach on March 28, is arriving nearly a month after his appointment.
Monty Desai’s coaching journey with Nepal

Law, 56, has been appointed as Nepal's head coach for a two-year term starting from April. The position had remained vacant after the contract of former coach Monty Desai expired in January and was not renewed. Law was selected following an application and selection process.
An experienced coach, Law has previously served as head coach of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, West Indies, Afghanistan and the US. He was also a member of the Australian squad that finished as runners-up in the 1996 Cricket World Cup.
Law will be the second Australian to coach the Nepal national cricket team. Previously in 2021, Dav Whatmore was appointed as the head coach of the Nepali team.
