Nepali youth found dead in New Zealand

KATHMANDU, Dec 29: A Nepali youth has been found washed up on Mount Maunganui Beach, New Zealand, media report stated.

Pawan Kumar Khadka, 22, was discovered by a member of the public early yesterday morning and his body was taken away by police, according to 3 News.

He has been in New Zealand for around 18 months and had been living in Tauranga.

The beach was cordoned off briefly from around 6:30am but then reopened by 8:30am.

Khadka's death has been referred to the coroner.
