LONDON, Dec 29: A Nepali youth lost his life while playing a football match with his friends in Birmingham. The deceased is Nishan Bhandari, 20.
According to local social worker Nabin Sapkota, Bhandari fell down to ground while playing football and breathed his last while being taken to hospital for treatment. The cause for the death is unknown.
Bhandari, who hails from Galkot, Baglung, had been living in Britain with his parents. He was a second year student of mechanical engineering at the Birmingham-based City College University.
The dead body has been kept at the local Sandwell Hospital.
The death has come as a shock to Nepali communities in Birmingham.
