Nepali dies in taxi in Seoul

SEOUL, Dec 15: A Nepali national, identified as Karna Bahadur Thapa, 63, resident of Dharan, died while traveling in a taxi in Seoul on December 11.



Thapa had arrived in Korea from Nepal a day before. After arriving in Seoul, Thapa, whose passport number is 3032988, checked in a motel, left his luggage there, and went to a casino, which he left only in the afternoon of December 11. He picked up his luggage from the motel and was traveling in a taxi to another motel when he died.



The taxi driver has told police that he found Thapa dead upon arriving at the destination. According to a post-mortem report, Thapa had suffered a heart attack. Thapa´s family has been informed about the death.
