BEIJING, Aug 1: A Nepali bell has been handed over to the Beijing-based bell museum on the occasion of 60 years of diplomatic relation between Nepal and China.

The bell was handed over on Saturday by Nepal China Executive Council to mark the occasion.

Addition of Nepali bell in the museum as a symbol of cultural relationships between the two countries is expected to attract Chinese tourists visiting Nepal.

The bronze bell that resembles the one in front of Taleju Temple in Patan, hangs in wooden frame.

It took six months to complete the bell.

According to Anupranjan Bhattarai the bell weighs around 60 kilograms.

He said the bell represents Nepali culture and handicrafts, adding it will help to introduce Nepal in international level.
