Nepali archers to compete in Bangkok

KATHMANDU, Oct 19: Altogether seven archery players are set to take part in the 19th Asian Archery Championship and Asian Olympic Continental Selection Tournament to be held in Bangkok, Thailand from November 1-9.

Jit Moktan, Prem Pun, Ashim Sherchan, Kishor Kumar Gurung, Laxman Pun and Bibek Sherchan are the male players, while Krishnamaya Shyangtan is the only female player in the team.

Jit Moktan and Krishnamaya are currently undergoing closed-camp training in Thailand. South Korean national Li Chung Un is the coach of the team, while Deepak Raj Gurung is the team manager.
