KATHMANDU, Aug 26: Nepal emerged victorious in the women's T-20 series, featuring four nations. In a gripping final showdown, Nepal secured a 13-run victory over Hong Kong, sealing their claim to the coveted title.

The final match was held at the Biomass Oval Cricket Ground in Kuala Lumpur. Persistent rain interrupted Nepal's batting innings, leading to the application of the Duckworth Lewis method to determine the outcome.

Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Nepal took to the field against Malaysia. Malaysia managed to accumulate 101 runs while losing six wickets within the stipulated 20 overs. Nepal, on the other hand, commenced their innings with a target of 120 runs for victory. However, after playing 5.3 overs, the match had to be halted due to inclement weather.

At the time of suspension, Nepal had scored 37 runs with the loss of a single wicket. Indu Burma held the crease at 19 runs, accompanied by Sita Rana Magar, who contributed 13 runs. Prior to that, Kajal Shrestha was dismissed without adding to the score. In light of persistent and heavy rain preventing a resumption of play, Nepal was ultimately declared the victor.
