KATHMANDU, April 9: Nepal's 14-member squad has been unveiled for the upcoming ACC Premier Cup set to take place in Oman.


The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has announced the final 14-member squad, excluding fast bowler Aakash Chand, who was part of the India tour. No other alterations have been made in the rest of the lineup.


Scheduled from April 12 to April 21, the Premier Cup in Oman will see Nepal, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar competing in Group A, while Group B comprises UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Cambodia.

The top two teams from each group will progress to the semi-finals, with the winning team earning a spot in the Asia Cup. Nepal, UAE, and Oman are seen as the frontrunners for the title.


Nepal's Squad:


(Captain) Rohit Paudel, Asif Sheikh, Kushal Bhurtel, Kushal Malla, Bibek Yadav, Sandeep Jora, Anil Shah, Gulshan Jha, Dipendra Singh Airee, Lalit Rajbanshi, Karan KC, Sompal Kami, Pratish GC, Abhinash Bohra.
