Nepal records 469 new cases, 555 recoveries and 11 deaths on Tuesday

KATHMANDU, Nov 2: As many as 555 people recovered from COVID-19 on Tuesday, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population. Similarly, Nepal recorded 469 new cases of COVID-19 and 11 deaths from the deadly virus on the same day.

A total of 10,287 COVID-19 tests were conducted on Tuesday. Of them, 7,115 were tested through the PCR method while 3,172 through the antigen method.

Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 140 cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 99 cases were recorded in Kathmandu, five in Bhaktapur and 36 in Lalitpur districts.

Similarly, the total vaccine doses administered in the country is 16,004,127. Among the total population of 30,378,055, as much as 28.6 percent have been administered the first dose while 24.1 percent have been given both doses.
