KATHMANDU, Feb 19: Nepal recorded 350 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, along with 1,272 recoveries and four deaths, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 7,096 swab samples (including RDT antigen data received through SMS & Email) were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 198 PCR and 152 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.

There are currently 13,516 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 12,828 are in self-isolation, 529 in institutional isolation, 142 in ICUs, and 17 on ventilators. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,917 people have died of the viral infection across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley alone recorded 62 cases of the virus on Saturday. Of them, 51 were recorded in Kathmandu, four in Bhaktapur, and seven in Lalitpur districts.
