KATHMANDU, Dec 4: Nepal recorded 238 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday along with 392 recoveries and five deaths, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 6,797 samples were tested for COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 220 PCR and 18 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.

There are currently 6,912 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 6,397 are in home isolation, 347 in institutional isolation, 106 in ICU’s and 62 on ventilators. Similarly, 98 are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,540 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 158 cases of the virus on Saturday. Of them, 97 were recorded in Kathmandu, 10 in Bhaktapur, and 51 in Lalitpur districts.
