Nepal records 126 cases, 137 recoveries and zero death on Thursday

KATHMANDU, Sept 15: Nepal registered 126 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, along with 137 recoveries and zero death from the virus, according to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP). 

As many as 3,790 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Of them, 75 PCR and 51 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the virus.

Across the nation, there are now 2,147 active cases of COVID-19. Of them, 2,062 are isolated by themselves, 67 are in institutional isolation and 18 are in intensive care units. So far, 12,015 people have died of the viral disease nationwide.

Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 57 cases of COVID-19 on Thursday. Of them, 53 cases were recorded in Kathmandu, one in Bhaktapur, and three in Lalitpur districts. Similarly, Morang recorded four new cases of COVID-19.
