KATHMANDU, Oct 11: As many as 1,004 people recovered from COVID-19 on Monday, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population. Similarly, Nepal recorded 1,096 new cases of COVID--19 and 12 deaths from the deadly virus on the same day.
As many as, 9,916 COVID-19 tests were conducted on Tuesday. Of them, 8,140 were tested through PCR method while 1,776 through the antigen method.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 354 cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 243 cases were recorded in Kathmandu, 24 in Bhaktapur and 87 in Lalitpur districts.
Similarly, the total vaccine doses administered in the country is 15,048,288. Among the total population of 30,378,055, as much as 28.2 percent have been administered the first dose while 21.4 percent have been given both doses.
