KATHMANDU, April 27: Nepal recorded 11 new cases of COVID-19 along with 17 recoveries and zero death from the virus on Wednesday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 5,891 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, eight PCR tests and three antigen tests turned out to be positive for the virus.

There are currently 252 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 251 are in self-isolation, and one in institutional isolation. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,951 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded three cases of COVID-19 on the day. Of them, three cases were recorded in Kathmandu district.
