LONDON, Sept 5 : With the participation of Nepalis living in Ireland and Irish nationals, Nepal Ireland Day was celebrated in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday. The function was organized to mark the 17th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Ireland.
The function was also attended by the Mayor of Ireland's Capital City, Irish lawmakers and officials from Ireland Foreign Ministry.

Addressing the function, Acting Ambassador of Nepal to UK, Sharad Raj Ara hoped that the function will be beneficial to further strengthen the bilateral relation between Nepal and Ireland and to promote Nepali art and culture.
Chairman of Nepal Ireland Society, Dipeshman Shakya, Coordinator of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), Europe, Kul Acharya among others also addressed the function.
The function showcased dance and musical presentations by Nepali and Irish artists. Panche Baja, traditional Nepali Instruments, was the main attraction of the function.
Thousands of people also observed the photos taken by Irish tourists in Nepal that were exhibited at the event.
There was an active participation of different organization in the program jointly organized by the Nepali Embassy in London, Nepal Ireland Society and Nepal Tourism Board.
