Nepal-India karate

KATHMANDU, May 8: Nepal Shotokan Karate Association (NSKA) is set to organize NSKA Indo-Nepal Karate Tournament in Kathmandu from Sunday.



The two-day event will see participation from 150 Nepali players and 200 Indian players, according to senior vice-president of NSKA Lal Kumar Lama.



Altogether 12 weight categories are included in men´s kumite and eight categories in women´s bouts. The tournament also features single and group kata events.



The matches will be held as per the rules of World Karate Federation at the covered hall of the Dasharath Stadium.
