Nepal govt decides to expel five Sri Lankan nationals

KATHMANDU, July 18: The government has decided to deport five Sri Lankan nationals who had been staying in Nepal without getting their visa renewed for a long time.

KATHMANDU, July 18: The government has decided to deport five Sri Lankan nationals who had been staying in Nepal without getting their visa renewed for a long time.


A recent cabinet meeting took a decision to this effect, the government spokesperson Gokul Baskota said at a press conference on Thursday.

The cabinet meeting decided to expel the Sri Lankan nationals by waiving a total fine of Rs 250,000.
