Nepal faces big defeat

KATHMANDU, March 13: Nepal U15 faced disappointing 9-0 defeat against Japan U16 on Sunday in its second match of the ongoing SFT South Asia JFA U-16 Football Exchange Programme being held in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

KATHMANDU, March 13: Nepal U15 faced disappointing 9-0 defeat against Japan U16 on Sunday in its second match of the ongoing SFT South Asia JFA U-16 Football Exchange Programme being held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. 



Kondo Kuraba netted hat-trick for Japan while Nishikawa Jun and Nakano scored two goals each for the team. Similarly, Sako Maya and Sumiko Koshiro added two more goals for the winning side. 



Nepali youth team which had registered 7-1 win over Bhutan U16 in the opening match will now take on the home side Sri Lanka U16 in the final match on Tuesday. The exchange program organized by Japan Football Association (JFA) has seen the participation of four youth teams from Japan, Sri Lanka and Bhutan alongside Nepal.
