KATHMANDU, May 20: Government has decided to extend the suspension of all domestic and international flights until June 14.
A meeting of the high-level government committee for the prevention and control of COVID-19 held on Wednesday decided to this effect.
Amid the extended period of nationwide lockdown, the committee concluded that the flights needs to be halted until Mid-June keeping in mind the rising COVID-19 cases.
Cabinet, earlier on, extended the lockdown started on March 24, until June 2. Owing to the growing number of coronavirus cases. As of Wednesday evening, the total number of confirmed cases has reached 427, with 2 deaths.
