Nepal evening held in Germany

KATHMANDU, July 14: Nepali embassy in Germany organized a tourism promotion event called ´Nepal Evening´ in Berlin on July 9 with a theme ´Naturally Nepal, Once is not enough´.



Welcoming the participants, Nepali Ambassador to Germany Suresh Prasad Pradhan appreciated German cooperation to Nepal in the tourism sector and highlighted the possibilities of further bilateral cooperation between Nepal and Germany in the tourism sector.



Ambassador Pradhan also urged the German entrepreneurs for their investment in Nepal´s tourism infrastructure sector, states a press release issued by Nepal Tourism Board on Tuesday.



While informing the participants about Nepal´s plan to celebrate 2011 as the Nepal Tourism Year and its targets to attract more than a million tourists, Ambassador Pradhan requested for support and cooperation to this national tourism campaign.



More than 350 participants including travel and tour operators, tourism entrepreneurs, well-wishers and friends of Nepal and members of Non-Resident Nepalese Association-Germany Chapter were present in the event.
