KATHMANDU, Nov 14: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and British Prime Minister David Cameron have stressed the importance of a lasting peace and inclusive constitutional settlement in Nepal.

Issuing a joint statement following Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's two-day visit in London, the two Prime Ministers Modi and Cameron have dwelled on the lasting and inclusive constitutional settlement in Nepal, believing that it would address the remaining areas of concern and promote political stability and economic growth.

The bigwigs have also expressed hope that the National Reconstruction Authority will begin to function as soon as possible to facilitate post-earthquake reconstruction.

In the summit held on 12-13 November, the two prime ministers celebrated the growing strength, breadth and depth of the relations between the two countries, among other global issues.
