KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Nepal has entered into the semifinals of AFC Solidarity Cup with a 3-0 victory against Brunei in its final group stage match on Tuesday.
In Nepal's win, Nawayug Shrestha, Bharat Khawas and Bimal Gharti Magar netted one goal each.
Nawayug Shrestha gave Nepal a lead scoring in the first half stoppage time after the Brunei goalie couldn't handle the shot from Hemanta Gurung. Bharat Khawas doubled the score with a goal scoring a back volley in the 71st minute while Bimal Gharti Magar wrapped a brilliant Nepalese performance from the spot after he was pulled back in the box.
