KATHMANDU, March 1: Nepal registered a thrilling victory over Namibia, defeating the visitors by three runs in the fourth match of the tri-nations T20I series.
In the fourth match of the tri-nations T20I series, Nepal restricted Namibia to 177 runs in the scheduled 20 over, securing victory by defending a total of 180 runs.

Nepali bowlers secured seven wickets against Namibia in a thrilling victory. Karan KC, Dipendra Singh Airee and Sompal Kami each took two wickets while Avinash Bohra bagged one wicket.
For Namibia, JJ Satshit scored 50 runs in 26 balls, Jan Frylik scored 37 runs in 29 balls, JP Kotzi scored 25 runs, and Jane Green added 23 runs. Ben Shikongo emerged as a key figure for Namibia, claiming three crucial wickets, with support from Jack Brussell who secured two wickets. Additionally, Nicol Loftie-Eaton and Bernard Scholtz each took one wicket.
Earlier, Nepal batted first after losing the toss. Kushal Malla led the scoring for Nepal, smashing a half-century with 55 runs. Aarif Sheikh, Gulsan Jha, and Anil Kumar Shah also made significant contributions, scoring 31, 26, and 23 runs, respectively.
Nepal was under pressure to win today's match in the triangular series with the Netherlands and Namibia. With this victory, Nepal has two points in the series points table. Previously, Nepal faced defeats against Namibia and the Netherlands. After defeating Nepal and Namibia, the Netherlands leads the table with four points.
After winning their first match against Nepal, Namibia also has two points. However, Nepal has secured the second position based on the net run rate. Both Nepal and Namibia will play one more game against the Netherlands. The series finale will feature the top two teams in the points table.
