KATHMANDU, Feb 27: Nepal is playing against Namibia in the tri-national T-20 series today. The match between Nepal and Namibia will kick off at 11:30AM at the TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.
According to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), this match serves as a vital preparation for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup scheduled to take place in America and West Indies in June.
T20I Series: Nepal to bat first against Namibia
In the initial phase of the triangular T20 series, all three participating teams will engage in two matches against each other.
In the previous ODI series among the three nations, Nepal's performance fell short, suffering defeat in both matches against Namibia. Eager to turn the tide, Nepal aims to redeem itself in the T20 series.
For the series, the head coach of the Nepali cricket team, Monty Desai, has announced the 18-member team under the captaincy of Rohit Kumar Paudel.
The Nepali squad includes captain Paudel, along with Asif Sheikh, Kushal Bhurtel, Kushal Malla, Dipendra Singh Airee, Lalit Rajvanshi, Karan KC, Gulsan Jha, Sompal Kami, Pratis GC, Sandeep Jora, Binod Bhandari, Bibek Yadav, Anil Shah, Rashid Khan, Sagar Dhakal, Aarif Sheikh, and Abinash Bohra.
