Nepal defeated by Japan

KATHMANDU, June 28: Nepal was defeated by Japan on Monday in the team event of SCG Junior Asian Badminton Championship being held in Bangkok, Thailand.

Nepal faced a 5-0 at the hand of Japan, according to Ramji Bahadur Shrestha, the general secretary of Nepal Badminton Association. Shrestha further stated that Dipesh Dhami came up with better show than other Nepali shuttlers in the match.

Earlier on Sunday, Nepal had overcome Mongolia 5-0 in the team event. Nepali team consists of Dipesh in men's singles and Shikshya Shrestha in women's singles, and Dipesh and Nir Bikram Devkota in men's doubles, Shikshya and Suninaina Mukhiya in women's doubles and Nir and Sunaina in mixed doubles.
