With the win the title race has opened for Bahrain who have collected six points from three matches. Now, a win for Bahrain against leaders Iran on Tuesday´s match will secure their place for final, while a draw will be sufficient for Iran to advance into the next round. [break]

Nepal´s worst run in the tournament continued until their third match of the tournament. They have not been able to able to score a single goal and add a single point.
The hosts conceded first four goals from the 10-men opponents after midfielder S Fadhel was given marching order in the 24th minute following two yellow cards in the match. Later in the 55th minute, Nepal too were limited to 10-men after Samir Limbu was sent off the ground. Limbu was slapped with the red card after he kicked fallen Komail H of Bahrain.

Bahrain defender Mubarak opened the scoring in the 28th minute through penalty after Ganesh Thapa Magar played a foul on Kadhim inside the box. Likewise, Kadhim netted a brace in the 38th and 41th minute. Kadim scored his first goal in the 38th minute through a flick header utilizing a free kick inside the box and netted the other in the 41st minute off a corner kick in the box to give his side a 3-0 lead before the interval.
In the second half also, Bahrain´s dominance continued and they added two more goals. The fourth goal of the match came in the 48th minute through S Fadhel. Fadhel made a spectacular goal beating three Nepali defenders and finally custodian Shamsher Khatri. Similarly, Ayaman A killed the match in injury time.

Earlier, in the first match of the day, A Abbas Aeinehchi completed the first hat-trick of the tournament to register a convincing 4-0 victory for Iran over Lebanon. M Mahdi Pour scored the first goal of the match.
With the win Iran climbed on top of the points table with seven points from three matches and Tajikistan too after playing same number of matches have collected equal points. But, Iran lead on the basis of goal difference.
Iran, the Asian powerhouse making confident start dominated the match from the beginning. They made about half a dozen powerful attacks in quest for a goal in the first half of the match. However, they had to wait until the second half to open their scoring.
Mahdi Pour opened the scoring in the 47th minute through a powerful grass shot from outside the box. Likewise, Aeinehchi scored in the 55th, 85th and 86th minutes to complete his hat-trick.
