KATHMANDU, April 4: Nepal has retained its previous 161st position in the latest FIFA ranking. It has managed to secure third place among the South Asian countries with India topping the group being in the 101st position in the ranking.
Maldives follows the group with second position securing 151st place in the ranking. Likewise, Bhutan has been ranked 186th, while Bangladesh 188th, Pakistan 200th and Sri Lanka 202nd.
Nepal slips one point in FIFA world ranking
Belgium topped the ranking followed by France in second position, Brazil in third, England in fourth, Croatia in fifth, Uruguay in sixth and Portugal in seventh.
Likewise, Switzerland has secured sixth position, Spain ninth and Denmark tenth. The FIFA (Federation International de Football Association), a governing body of association football, make public the ranking chart every month after evaluating performance by its member states. RSS
