Nepal climbs three places in FIFA ranking

KATHMANDU, April 13: Nepal have climbed three spots to 162nd place with 111 points in the latest FIFA men’s team rankings.

KATHMANDU, April 13: Nepal have climbed three spots to 162nd place with 111 points in the latest FIFA men’s team rankings.  


India are still the top South Asian team as they leaped two spots to 97th, while Bhutan moved three spots up to 184th place. Bangladesh are still at the 197th place.  The 2014 World Cup winner, Germany have retained the top ranking whereas Brazil is second. Similarly, Belgium climbed two places to third, while Portugal are fourth and Argentina dropped to fifth.

Switzerland and France both jumped two spots and are sixth and seventh respectively. Spain are eighth, Chile are ninth and Poland are in 10th position.
