As per Prof Shree Krishna Adhikari, chairman of the committee, all necessary documents must be submitted to the committee's office in Narayanhiti by Shrawan. This requirement aligns with the approval of the committee formation order, which was issued by the Council of Ministers on January 4, 2021. The formation order mandates that Panchanga and calendars cannot be published without the committee's approval. Unauthorized publication will result in appropriate action being taken.
For new individuals seeking to create Panchanga, the notification specifies that they must present at least three years of independently calculated Panchang and related calculations, including all bases and math relevant to the year 2081 BS.
The committee emphasizes that Panchanga arriving before the due date and not meeting the required criteria will not receive approval.
