Nepal bags two gold medals in Wushu

KATHMANDU, Dec 3 : Nepal has won two gold medals in Wushu in the ongoing 13th South Asian Games, 2019.

Nepal's Bijaya Sinjali and Susmita Tamang defeated their Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan competitors, bringing home gold medal. Sinjali got 9.48 points, while Tamang 9.44. In the competition, Bangladesh won silver medal with 9.34 points, and Sri Lanka bronze with 9.13 points. The matches were held at Nepal Army's covered hall in Lagankhel.
