NA submits reports on Fast Track to house panel

KATHMANDU, Jan 3: Nepal Army on Thursday submitted the progress report on Kathmandu- Nijgadh Fast Track to National Concern and Coordination Committee of National Assembly.

KATHMANDU, Jan 3: Nepal Army on Thursday submitted the progress report on much-talked-about Kathmandu-Nijgadh Fast Track to National Concern and Coordination Committee under the National Assembly.


According to the report, the Nepal Army has finished 15.86 per cent of the physical construction of the national pride project along with 1.20 per cent of progress in the current fiscal year.

Similarly, the deputy chief of the project Bikash Pokharel informed that running bills are yet to be sent to the field and all the payments will be done within a month.


Likewise, the NA stated that the compensation of 3 ropanis  and 4 ana land at Khokana and 8 ropanis and 4 ana land at Bungamati has already been paid to the landowners.


A 30-day notice regarding the land acquisition in new areas along the road has been published, according to the NA.
