Nepal Army elected to field first and bundled out British Infantry for 102 runs in 19.4 overs. Fred Moywan was the top scorer for British Infantry with 16 runs off 20 balls, followed by Jim Codling (15 runs off 14 balls) and Gedian Charles (14 runs off 11 balls).[break]
Rahul Vishwakarma took two wickets while Rajesh Pulami, Chandra Sawad, Anil Mandal and Naresh Budhaayer claimed a wicket each.
Chasing the low total, Nepal Army reached 105/2 in 12.4 overs. Naresh Budhaayer scored an unbeaten 42 runs off 24 balls and wicketkeeper-batsman Mahesh Chhetri remained unbeaten on 36 runs off 43 balls. Budhaayer hit seven boundaries and a six while Chhetri struck four boundaries and a six. Jim Codling claimed a wicket for British Infantry.
It was Chhetri´s first match for Nepal Army. Chhetri, who played for Region No 5 (Nepalgunj) in the recently concluded National T20, had signed a contract with Nepal Army after the tournament.
