Nepal and China sign consumer right protection agreement

KATHMANDU, Oct 19: Minister for Supplies, Deepak Bohara, and visiting Chinese Minister of State Administration for Industry and Commerce, Zhang Mao, today held talks at former's office in the capital city.

KATHMANDU, Oct 19: Minister for Supplies, Deepak Bohara, and visiting Chinese Minister of State Administration for Industry and Commerce, Zhang Mao, today held talks at former's office in the capital city. 


The two ministers also signed an agreement on consumers' rights protection and exchange of support and information related to the sector.

On the occasion, Minister Bohara expressed belief the agreement would make important contribution in enhancing Nepal – China trade and protecting consumers' rights. 

Minister Bohara pledged Nepal's commitment in implementing the past agreements to Minister Zhang. 


The visiting Chinese Minister also shared his belief that the agreement would help boost additional trade between Nepal and China. 


Minister Zhang had earlier held talks with Industry Minister, Nabindra Raj Joshi, reaffirming Chinese support in industrial sector's development. RSS
