Nepal 1 journo killed in accident

KATHMANDU, Dec 29: Television journalist Ratna Maharjan was killed in a road accident after a vehicle hit his motorcycle he was riding at Balkhu Sunday evening. Maharjan, who was working as Visual Editor with Nepal 1 Television Channel, died on the spot, Nepali 1 journalist Jayendra Regmi told myrepublica.com. As of Monday morning, police have not been able to identify the vehicle that hit the motorcycle. The accident took place at about 8:30 p.m. at Balkhu Bridge.
