KATHMANDU, Sept12: The lifeless body of CPN-UML Vice Chairman Subas Nembang, who tragically succumbed to a heart attack on Monday night, will be placed in repose at the UML party headquarters in Chyasal, Lalitpur, to allow the public to pay their final respects.
Party leaders have announced that Nembang's body will be kept at the party's Chyasal headquarters throughout the day on Tuesday. His funeral rites will be conducted in accordance with the Mundhum cultural traditions, pending the arrival of his son from Australia.

A large number of leaders and party members from various political parties have converged at the TU Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj. Plans are underway to transport his remains to the party's Chyasal headquarters, as confirmed by party officials.
According to family sources, Nemwang, who had been resting at home due to a common cold, was rushed to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital at 1:30 pm for medical attention after suffering a severe heart attack. Tragically, doctors declared him deceased upon arrival.
In addition to his role as Chairman of the Constituent Assembly which played a pivotal role in promulgating Nepal's new constitution in 2015, Nembang also held various high-ranking positions, including that of minister and Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR).
Nemwang is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters, who are grieving the loss of their beloved patriarch.
Prominent leaders, including President Ram Chandra Paudel, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba, and UML Chairman K P Oli, have expressed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
