Inaugurating Non-Resident Nepali Day in Pokhara, Nembang said the deadlock is getting protracted as parties continue to make self-centered decisions.
“Let them forge consensus and I will find solution within a minute,” he claimed. He also criticized the parties for not concluding the peace process and not being able to elect a prime minister.
He said he cannot begin a new process to elect prime minister unless Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Paudel withdraws his candidacy.
“I cannot breach parliamentary procedures and its amendment requires political consensus,” he said.
He further said NRNs are not able to pour ample investments into the country due to the wrong attitude of our political leaders.
NRN Association Nepal´s President Dev Man Hirachan said the state should create an environment conducive for NRNs to invest in various sectors including health and technology.
