Nembang discusses 5-pt deal with Dahal

KATHMANDU, June 11: Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairman Subash Chandra Nembang held discussion on implementation of five-point deal with the UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the latter’s residence in Nayabazar on Saturday morning.



The duo discussed about the preparation of the first draft of the new constitution by August 17 and ways to resolve the contentious issues in the formation of the new constitution.[break]



It is learned that Nembang also inquired about the representatives from his party for the Parliamentary Monitoring Committee.



Dahal in response assured Nembang that he will finalize the names of the representatives within few days.



The committee was formed under the coordination of the CA chairman for monitoring the implementation of the five-point pact.
