The customs office was opened in order to bring transaction into the taxing circle and also to check illegal transaction in the border area, said Chief District Officer Narahari Baral.

The fair is held twice in a year. Prior to this, all goods for the fair used to come with zero customs duty. We are planning to give continuity to the office in coordination with the locals, CDO Baral said. RSS
