KATHMANDU, Jan 9: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) vice chair Bamdev Gautam has urged the party leaders to work for the cause of party unity.
Issuing an appeal on Saturday, leader Gautam, who has chosen not to be part of any of the two rival factions, has stated that he was working for the party unity and appealed to all members to do the same.
Leader Gautam has also urged all to be united in the National Campaign for NCP Unity.
As a coordinator of the campaign, Gautam has appealed to all concerned to convince the party leaders and cadres not to attend programs organized by any of the two factions and help maintain unity of the party.
Gautam has also urged chairmen duos KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ not to make others laugh by promoting factionalism.
Vice chair Gautam has mentioned that the party was facing tough times caused by misunderstanding among senior leaders. He claimed that the misunderstanding, however, was not resulted due to differences of principles and party lines.
