KATHMANDU, June 3: Lawmaker of the ruling Nepal Communist Party Bhim Rawal has objected the United States Ambassador to Nepal Randy Berry’s public interaction on social media.
Rawal, who is also the former home minister and defense minister, said that the US ambassador's public interaction on social media is against the international diplomatic norms and values prescribed by the Vienna Convention.

Speaking at the House of Representatives on Sunday, the leader also criticized the Oli-led government for not being able to control the undiplomatic activities of the US ambassador.
Ambassador Berry started social media interaction titled ‘Rajdut Sanga Guff Gaff (chit chat with ambassador)’ on June 27 and is planned for every Monday.
This is a weekly interaction with the Embassy’s four million followers on various social media platforms. The ambassador's public interaction through Twitter and Facebook has drawn mixed responses from Nepalis.
