NCC Bank adds two ATMs

KATHMANDU, June 9: Nepal Credit and Commerce (NCC) Bank has launched its automated teller machine (ATM) service in Biratnagar and Chitwan, two major economically active cities of the country.[break]



The board director of the bank, Narayan Raj Tiwari, and Chief Executive Officer Ratna Raj Bajracharya inaugurated the new machine in Biratnagar and Narayanghat, respectively, on Tuesday, says a press release. So far, the bank has ATMs in Bagbazar and Chabahil in Kathmandu district, Kumaripati in Lalitpur district, and Pokhara.



Following the launch of the service, the bank announced that it would be opening accounts on zero balance and distribute ATM cards for free, in a bid to better serve its customers.



The bank also has a plan to place new ATMs in Birgunj, Siddharthanagar, Thankot and Butwal by the end of this fiscal year, concludes the release.
