KATHMANDU, Jan 7: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has made it clear that the NC will not give a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
Speaking with journalists after the parliamentary party meeting held at Singha Durbar on Saturday, General Secretary Thapa said that the NC will remain in the opposition and will play its role accordingly. He said, “NC votes against the vote of belief, sits in the opposition.”

However, General Secretary Thapa said that NC will decide whether or not to give a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the parliamentary party meeting to be held at 9 am on January 10.
