NC, UML to hold decisive talks with oppen alliance soon

KATHMANDU, March 12: A meeting of the senior leaders of the two major ruling parties, the Nepali Congress and the CPN (UML), has decided to hold meaningful and a decisive dialogue with the opposition alliance very soon.

The meeting held at the Prime Minister's official residence at Baluwatar today held discussions on seeking consensus on the ground of nine-point agreement presented by the ruling parties and the discussions held on January 19 with the opposition parties, said UML senior leader Jhalanath Khanal.

He added that the both parties are of the same understanding that the constitution drafting process could go smoothly only when the coalition partners' relations and journey was strengthened.

Similarly, following the meeting NC spokesperson, Dilendra Badu informed that they would hold meaningful dialogues with the opposition alliance either today or tomorrow. RSS
