According to our Dhankuta-based correspondent Sidhha Raj Rai, an unidentified group set a vehicle (Me 1 Ja 237) belonging to NC candidate from Dhankuta Constituency Number 2 Ananda Santsohi Rai on fire in the district on Tuesday midnight. Both the tyres of the vehicle were burnt out due to the fire.[break]
Likewise, according to Devendra Basnet, our Dang-based correspondent, a jeep (Ra 1 Ja 365) of CPN-UML´s Danga Constituency number 2 candidate Shanta Chaudhary, was also torched last night.
Police said that the jeep being parked near her house in the district was set ablaze by an unidentified group.
According to Inspector Rajendra Adhikari at Ward Police Office, Ghorahi, both the tyres and engine of the jeep have been completely damaged due to the fire.
